Frontier Resort is a 2nd generation family resort located on the
Ash River in northern Minnesota, a stones throw from
Voyageurs National Park and just south of the Ontario border. 
Kabetogama and Namakan Lakes and some of the best
fishing in the upper Midwest is just a short boat ride away!  
Our location on the river means we have the closest resort
access to Sullivan Bay and the main lakes!

For the sportsman, Voyageurs' natural beauty and terrific fishing

crappie and smallmouth bass in Kabetogama, Namakan, Sand Point or

Frontier is open May through September to accommodate you so you won't miss a minute of our excellent fishing!

The Ash River area is also known for its great fall hunting and fishing and the beautiful autumn
colors are worth a vacation themselves!

Frontier Resort is open January through March for great winter vacations!  We have direct  access to over
250 miles of groomed snowmobile trails plus all our beautiful lakes to ride!
