LOCATION

The entrance to Ash River Trail is 145 miles north of Duluth MN, 27 miles north of Orr, on US Highway 53. 
Frontier Resort is located  11 miles east
of US 53 on CR 129.  Follow  the road to the very end of the trail.

We are located just outside Voyageurs National Park with easy access to Sullivan Bay which is only a few minutes from Kabetogama and Namakan lakes.

In Sullivan Bay, many bays and islands permit you to fish in relative safety regardless of the weather.  And from our docks, it's a short boat ride out to the main lakes.
